Elai

Hi! I’m Elai, owner of Haunted Opossum. While I’m relatively new to the furry community, I enjoy creating things and making people’s visions come to life. Callen is the person who has gotten me into this community, and part of how this was born.

We are a disabled, queer owned and run small business, and we try our best to work with people’s various needs and disabilities in each commission. As disabled creators, we know it can sometimes be difficult to find things that suit our individual needs, and often can be quite a bit more expensive when you need special alterations made.

My first fullsuit I made started on a whim back in the fall of 2023, with the head of the opossum suit in the pictures. I didn’t expect it to come out as good as it had and people started asking, so I decided, since I’m always growing, that I would provide, hence, were here.

Outside of furry, I enjoy my crafts and abilities I have to create things. I like foraging and hunting for cool bones, taxidermy, and I guess being an absolute gremlin of an emo twink. 😅 You’ll never see me without my hair dyed in some way, or cut unconventional for most (mainly Mohawk/death hawk) or without tattoos and piercings.

Callen (Caltsar)

I’m a long time member of the furry fandom, having attended my first in-person event in 2007. My fursona has been a green dragon for most of my life now, and I love bringing him to life in any way I can. I’ve always taken an interest in building anything and everything I could. This has lead me to careers involving electronics design and repair, 3D design, CAD, CAM, 3D printing, machining, and mold making.

I can integrate lighting and visual effects into your creations, or create a custom mold to replicate that ultra-specific horn shape in lightweight, but sturdy foam rubber. Whatever you dream, I’ve got the technical experience to make Elai’s art happen.

Elai and I decided to start this business late in 2023 when we started getting spontaneous orders for his crafts. Suddenly, creating was a full time job for him and I have the background to help support his business both in technical knowledge, and my experience with running a small business, so here we are!

Mainly though, I support the business operations and our equipment so Elai can focus on making cool stuff! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions! We look forward to making your visions come to life!
