Fursuit Repair and Maintenance

Is your existing fursuit in need of repair? We will take on repairs of fursuits from any maker. From simple ripped seams to full head re-furring, we will make sure your fursuit is in pristine condition for you to wear. If your fursuit is showing its age and needs some updates, we can replace or recreate almost any part of your suit. We can upgrade parts made with more delicate materials (like polymer clay) with parts made of stronger materials. If your foam eye blanks are dented and stained, we can fit new 3D printed eyes in. Burlap eye mesh can be replaced with brighter and higher quality PVC mesh. We will also take on your abandoned project that you ran out of steam on.

Examples of our work

Wow Dragon Studio Head

Repair of neck fur and addition of inner lining

We received this head from a customer who had another maker botch the alterations to increase the size of this head. In addition to multiple tears in the fur, we had to replace stained patches, worn and ripped portions of the fur, the entire zipper, an addition of a lining, and reinforced the battery pocket.

Outside of the head after refurbishment

We do not have a before picture of the outside of this head. It was stained and had bald patches in the fur.

Mold Remediation on Moon

Moon can be seen here with mold damage around the mouth. The damage was much worse on the inside of the head

Moon came to us with mold damage from being stored while not completely dry. When we received this head, it was covered with black mold around the mouth, all over the eye mesh, and on the fleece lining inside.

We were able to remove all of the black mold through a combination of cleaning, replacing damaged pieces, chemical treatments, and ozone treatments. Every spot where mold was growing was swabbed and cultured to confirm that mold was completely removed before releasing the head back to her owner.

For this repair, we replaced the plush teeth, a large amount of the original foam, the entire lining, the eyes, and tongue. We also included new eyeliners to replace the ones that were lost in the original damage.
